By accessing or using Cyntra24 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Cyntra24 by ARV Labs ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Cyntra24 is a digital safety service that helps people recognise scams, phishing, fake notices and malicious websites. The Service includes: Checking links, messages, letters, screenshots, QR codes, calls and voice notes for signs of fraud An AI review of submitted content A WhatsApp number that checks forwarded messages Family Circle, which alerts people you choose by SMS, WhatsApp or email Scam alerts, news and community reports Guides to securing and backing up a phone The Service is provided for information only. A result is our best assessment from the data available and is not a guarantee that something is safe or unsafe.

While we strive for accuracy, Cyntra24 cannot guarantee that its scan results are complete, accurate, or up-to-date. Specifically: A "Safe" verdict does not guarantee a URL, message, or document is safe. New threats emerge constantly, and our databases may not yet include them. A "Dangerous" verdict is based on pattern matching and third-party databases. False positives are possible. The scam wording detector uses pattern-based analysis and may not catch all forms of fraud, particularly novel or sophisticated scams. Community reports are user-submitted and may contain inaccurate information. You should use Cyntra24 as one input in your decision-making, not as the sole basis for action. When in doubt about a potential threat, contact the relevant organisation directly through their official channels.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: Use the Service to scan content you do not have the right to access. Submit false or misleading community threat reports. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service. Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at a volume that degrades performance for other users. Use the Service to facilitate fraud, harassment, or any illegal activity. Impersonate another person or entity in community reports. Attempt to circumvent any rate limits or access controls. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

All content, features, and functionality of Cyntra24, including but not limited to the user interface, design, code, algorithms, and documentation, are owned by Cyntra24 by ARV Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. This licence does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service. Community reports submitted by users are licensed to us on a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide basis for the purpose of operating the community threat database.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater. This limitation of liability applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cyntra24 by ARV Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: Your use of the Service. Your violation of these Terms. Your violation of any third-party rights. Any content you submit through the community reports feature.

The Service uses third-party providers including Supabase, Vercel, Google Safe Browsing, urlscan.io, WHOISXML, OCR.Space, OpenAI, Twilio, SendGrid and Meta (WhatsApp). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the data they process. We are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. Links to third-party websites that appear in scan results or community reports are not endorsements. We are not responsible for the content or practices of linked websites.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall survive.

When you add someone to your Family Circle, you confirm that they know you have done so and agree to receive safety alerts from Cyntra24. Standard message and data rates may apply to them. They can ask us to stop at any time. You must not use Family Circle or the WhatsApp service to send unwanted messages to anyone.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
