What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide information to website owners, and improve the user experience.

How Cyntra24 Uses Cookies

Cyntra24 uses only cookies that the Service needs to work. Sign-in cookies: if you sign in with your phone number, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets cookies that keep you signed in. They are removed when you sign out. Admin cookie: staff who sign in to the admin area receive a secure cookie that expires after 12 hours. We do not use: Advertising or tracking cookies Third-party analytics cookies Social media tracking cookies Profiling or behavioural targeting cookies

Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember things on this device only: Your light or dark theme Your progress on the security check and backup checklists, and the date of your last backup Your call history in the Call Checker In the demo version, your Family Circle Local storage stays on your device. It is not sent to our servers. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Third-Party Cookies

Cyntra24 does not embed third-party services that set cookies. Our scanning, AI and messaging providers are called from our servers and do not interact with your browser. If we add third-party integrations in future that require cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: View what cookies are stored and delete them individually Block third-party cookies Block all cookies from specific sites Block all cookies Delete all cookies when you close the browser Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly. For instructions on managing cookies in your browser: Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies Edge: Settings > Privacy > Cookies

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will implement a cookie consent mechanism before they are set.
